(“PICI”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes data on behalf of, and as agent for, Alberta iGaming Corporation (“AiGC”) in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (“POPA”), Alberta’s ACCESS TO INFORMATION ACT (ATIA), and other applicable privacy laws.

1. PERSONAL INFORMATION
“Personal information” means recorded information that identifies, or can reasonably be linked to, an individual. This includes basic contact details such as a person’s name, home or business address, telephone number, email address, or similar information, except where that information is provided solely in a business capacity on behalf of an employer or principal.
Personal information also includes demographic and identity‑related information, such as race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religious or political beliefs or associations, age, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, and family status. It includes unique identifiers assigned to an individual, such as identification numbers or symbols, as well as biometric and biological information, including fingerprints, genetic information, blood type, and inheritable characteristics.
In addition, personal information includes information about an individual’s physical or mental health and health care history; educational, financial, employment, or criminal history, including criminal records where a pardon has been granted; opinions or assessments about the individual held by others; and the individual’s own personal views or opinions, except where those views or opinions relate to another person.
Personal information does not include aggregated or anonymized information that cannot be used to identify an individual. PICI uses such information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the POPA.
2. CONSENT
PICI collects, uses, retains, and discloses personal information only to the extent authorized by applicable law and as reasonably necessary to provide the products and services you request and to operate and administer the Services. Where required by law, PICI will obtain consent for specific collections, uses, or disclosures of personal information. Where consent is required under applicable privacy laws, you consent to PICI’s collection, use, retention, and disclosure of personal information in accordance with this Privacy Statement.
You may choose not to provide certain personal information; however, if that information is required to provide a particular product or service, we may be unable to offer that product or service to you. For questions or concerns about this Privacy Statement or PICI’s privacy practices, please contact us at support@ab.stardustcasino.com.
3. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Personal information is collected through the site by PICI under the authority of Sections 4(a) and (c) of the Protection of Privacy Act (Alberta) and the iGaming Alberta Act, and the operating agreement entered into between PICI and Alberta iGaming Corporation. Your personal information will be used or disclosed for the administration of the PICI iGaming site, including for identity verification and authentication, determining eligibility to participate in gaming activities (including age and location verification), processing deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions, detecting and preventing fraud and suspicious activity, supporting responsible gaming measures including self-exclusion, complying with legal and regulatory requirements, and as otherwise described in PICI’s Privacy Statement. If you have questions about the collection of your personal information, please contact us.
Registration Information. For identification, authentication, and verification purposes, PICI utilizes a third-party verification service provided by GBG and IDNow for which:
• To the extent authorized by applicable law, PICI, GBG, or IDNow will verify your identity with a credit bureau and access your credit file (only for identity verification). This is not a credit check and will not affect your credit rating or credit score. Because verification may involve collecting information from a credit bureau through GBG or IDNow (rather than directly from you), we will do so only where authorized by applicable law or with your authorization.
• In addition to the above, we will need to verify your identity in order for you to use some aspects of the Service. For such purposes we will verify your identity with a credit bureau and we may also collect personal information from you as reasonably necessary for identity verification, account administration, legal compliance, and operation of the Services.
• When you create an account (“Account”), we may collect the following personal information (“Registration Information”): name; username; date of birth; password; home address; citizenship; employment and/or occupation information; email address; Internet protocol (IP) address; phone number; payment information; voice and audio information; and security questions and responses. Some of this Registration Information, for example, your name and username, may be shown publicly, such as on your profile page when you log in via a social media account.
Additional Information. From time-to-time, you may provide us with additional information to make public, such as in connection with a Promotion. Providing the additional information is entirely optional. BY PROVIDING YOUR CELL PHONE NUMBER TO US TO RECEIVE SMS MESSAGES, YOU EXPRESSLY CONSENT TO RECEIVING SMS MESSAGES FROM US FOR THE PURPOSE OF WHICH IS TO MARKET PICI, THE SERVICE, AND OUR PRODUCTS AND OTHER SERVICES. ALTHOUGH THERE IS NO FEE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SERVICE, YOUR CARRIER MAY CHARGE YOU FOR EACH MESSAGE YOU RECEIVE IN ACCORDANCE WITH YOUR CALLING PLAN. YOU AGREE THAT WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IN ANY WAY FOR SUCH CHARGES. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO CONTINUE TO RECEIVE ANY MESSAGES VIA YOUR MOBILE DEVICE, YOU MAY OPT-OUT AT ANY TIME. YOU MAY OPT-OUT OF RECEIVING MARKETING MESSAGES BY TEXTING “STOP” IN RESPONSE TO A MARKETING SMS MESSAGE. FAILURE TO OPT-OUT CONSTITUTES YOUR CONSENT TO CONTINUE TO RECEIVE THESE MESSAGES UNTIL YOU ELECT TO OPT-OUT. FOR INFORMATION ABOUT OUR TEXT PROGRAM OR FOR SUPPORT, PLEASE CONTACT US AT SUPPORT@AB.STARDUSTCASINO.COM.
Messages, Posts, Scores and Other Public Information. Our Service is primarily designed to help you share information with other users and to engage in Games and Promotions. Most of the information you provide to us is information you are asking us to make public. This includes any comments or information you provide. Under these circumstance, our default is almost always to make the information you provide public but we generally give you settings to make the information more private if you want. Your public information is broadly and instantly disseminated. For example, your public messages may be searchable by search engines. You should be careful about all information that will be made public by us, not just your messages. What you say on our Platform may be viewed all around the world instantly.
Location Information. You must ensure geolocation is enabled in order to comply with legal requirements that require game play and wagering to only occur in Alberta. We use location information to confirm you are eligible to access gameplay and wagering features in Alberta and to support fraud prevention and security. If we retain location data for service improvement, we will limit retention to what is reasonably necessary and, where feasible, transform it into aggregated data or statistics that do not identify you. You can control your location information settings by using your device’s settings to turn location services on or off for the PICI Social App, however, certain features or services of our Services, Platform and App may be affected or unavailable if your location services are disabled. We may also use your location information to enable you to interact with our third-party partners (“Brands”) and other users.
Log Data. Our servers automatically record information (“Log Data”) created by your use of the Service. Log Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type, the referring domain, pages visited, your mobile carrier, device and application IDs, search terms, and similar information. Other actions, such as interactions with our App and advertisements, may also be included in Log Data.
Links. We may keep track of how you interact with links in messages across our Service including third-party services and clients by redirecting clicks or through other means. We do this to help improve our Service. If link tracking is used for marketing or advertising purposes, we will do so only where authorized by applicable law and, where required, with your consent, and to be able to share aggregate click statistics such as how many times a particular link was clicked on. Any aggregated statistics we share will be data that does not identify you.
Cookies. Like many websites, we use “cookie” technology, or similar technology, to collect additional website usage data and to improve our Service, but we do not require cookies for many parts of our Service such as searching and looking at public user profiles or lists. A cookie is a small data file stored in your web browser. Some cookies last only until you close your browser (session cookies), while others stay longer (persistent cookies) unless you delete them. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies to better understand how you interact with our Service, to monitor aggregate usage by our users and web traffic routing on our Service, and to improve our Service. Most Internet browsers automatically accept cookies. You can instruct your browser by editing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit.
Analytics. We may allow others to provide audience measurement and analytics services for us, to serve advertisements on our behalf across the Internet, and to track and report on the performance of those advertisements. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, SDKs, and other technologies to identify your device when you visit our site and use our Services, as well as when you visit other online sites and services. If we use optional advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies, we will obtain your consent where required before enabling them.
Third-Party Service. We use a variety of services hosted by third parties to help provide our Service, such as hosting our various blogs and wikis, and to help us understand the use of our Service. We disclose personal information to third-party service providers only as necessary to provide and administer the Services, for purposes consistent with those for which the information was collected, and subject to appropriate contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
Payment Information. You may be asked to provide credit card or other payment information in connection with your use of the Service. We protect payment and account information using reasonable security arrangements. Please review Section 11 for further details.
4. USE OF INFORMATION
We use personal information only for purposes that are reasonable and that have been identified with the individual at or before the time of collection, or as otherwise permitted by law. We limit the use of personal information to what is reasonably necessary to achieve those purposes.
We may use your Registration Information to help facilitate your transactions and participation in Games, Rewards and Promotions, including with Brands where necessary to deliver the relevant feature or promotion and in accordance with applicable law, and to resolve disputes between you and other users. We may also use your Registration Information as necessary to investigate fraud, protect our legal rights, and otherwise provide the Service.
We may use your personal information, including your Registration Information, to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support, and other services to you (if any), including by sending email or text messages to your wireless phone, tablet, or other mobile device (each a “Device”). Where required by law, and with your consent, we may also send you marketing communications. You may withdraw your consent at any time. We may use data derived from personal information or non personal data that does not identify any individual to improve our products and services, in accordance with applicable law.
We may use automated systems to generate content, and make decisions, recommendations or predictions about you. You may direct any questions about the collection and other processing of your personal information to PICI’s Privacy Officer at privacynotices@ab.stardustcasino.com.

To the extent permitted under applicable law, we may disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials as we believe is necessary or appropriate to (1) investigate, respond to, and defend against legal claims; (2) comply with any legal process (including subpoenas); (3) protect the property and rights of PICI or others; (4) protect PICI or others against liability; (5) provide for the safety of the public or others; (6) prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, fraudulent, abusive, or legally actionable activity; (7) protect the security or integrity of the Services and any equipment used to make the Services available; or (8) otherwise comply with the law.
